Effects of Yuklinju on in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer

Abstract
|
|
|
These studies were conducted to evaluate the effects of Yuklinju on proliferation of endometrial stromal cells and nuclear maturation of immature oocytes in bovine, and endometriosis surgically induced in rat.
The results obtained were as follows
1. The toxic effect of Yuklinju was showed in the above 2% solution.
2. By MTT assay and 3[H]-thymidine incorporation method, proliferation of endometrial stromal cells was most increased at the concentration of 0.5% Yuklinju respectively.
3. The proliferation of endometrial stromal cells was not affected by estrogen and progesterone indirectly.
4. In serum free media, the maturation of bovine immature oocytes was increased by treatment of Yuklinju with a dose dependent manner. 1% Yuklinju was showed most valuble maturation rate.
5. In in vitro maturation of bovine immature oocytes, addition of 5% FCS or co-treatments of 0.5% Yuklinju plus 5% FCS was indicated more significant increase than control.
6. The valuble increasement of maturation oocytes developed to the 2-cell stage after addition of 0.5% Yuklinju or 0.5% Yuklinju containing 5% FCS
7. Uterine epithelium and inner surface in endornetriosis of rat were proliferated by treatment of Yuklinju
8. The level. of progesterone was increased about 40% compared to control at endometeriosis surgically induced in rat. However the level of estrogen was not changed compared to control.
These results suggested that Yuklinju was affected for proliferation of endometrial stromal cells and nuclear maturation of immature oocytes and secreation of progesterone. Therefore, Yuklinju might be useful for improvement of reproductive efficiency.
